Compassion and ethical considerations are vital in our services
First Steps
1
Information is collected
We’ll ask you a few questions to identify your goals and learn about your child’s needs.
2
Assessment
An assessment will be conducted in person by one of the consultants.
3
Programme design
An individualised plan will be designed to fit your child’s needs and goals. Based on the assessment results, specific skills will be targeted.
The best outcomes are obtained when learners are given many opportunities to practice a skill, every day, with different people and in different environments.
Those who can make the greatest difference are the people in the learner’s day to day life. It usually involves the learner’s family, caregivers and teachers or any other support staff that are part of the learner’s environment. This is why we believe that collaboration with caregivers and other professionals is fundamental in order to achieve the best outcomes.
